The CISSP® certification acknowledges the years of experience attained. It is held by professionals who develop standards and processes and manage implementation within organizations. The certified individuals have proven their knowledge not only in regard to their specific field but also in the whole spectrum of the eight (ISC)2 domains; they must also regularly maintain their credentials.
